Let’s Talk about Cultivating Customer Loyalty

November 3, 2020 by Advertising

Cultivating-Customer-Loyalty

In today’s increasingly over-crowded online marketplace, the key to cultivating customer loyalty is to consistently follow an effective digital marketing plan – something most companies still fail to do.

Customer satisfaction should be front and center for every business. However, for a small business, it is crucial. Making customer service a top priority can make you more competitive against your larger counterpart. Let’s be honest, a company’s top asset is its customers. Happy and loyal customers not only support a business by continuing to do business with you, but also by referring you to friends and family.

As a business owner, thinking of ways to rise above the competition should revolve around giving customers something they can’t get elsewhere. Want to learn more? Below are some actionable steps you can take now to ensure you’re cultivating customer loyalty in your business.

Cultivating Customer Loyalty

Asking for Customer Feedback

If you do this on a consistent basis, it will give you the power to improve the customer’s experience moving forward. A simple online form or social media poll is a great strategy for learning where you need to tweak your sales protocols and practices.

The beauty of a small business is that you have a greater chance of making your customer service more personal and targeted. Customers can be very sensitive to whether you are genuine and sincere. Using their names and finding ways to compliment them will help to develop a trusting and loyal following.

Identify and Anticipate Customer Needs

Proactively listening to your customers and making an effort to get to know them as much as possible will help you fine-tune special deals geared towards their purchasing history.

Be sure to assure them that you are aware of and ready to fix any problems that they may encounter. An apology can go a long way when something goes wrong. Make it easy for them to complain and impress them with your willingness to listen and diffuse the situation.

Use Social Media as a Platform to Humanize Your Business

Keep your customer aware of any new products, special sales or events. Do your best to engage with them and be prompt in responding to any comments (negative or positive) that they post regarding your business.

Encourage Customers to Write Online Reviews

Whether it’s on social media or online directories, you can capture reviews from your customers by making an easy-to-follow instruction pamphlet. The search engines love ranking those businesses who have a larger social footprint. Video testimonials is another valuable asset small business can use to illustrate how satisfied their customers are with their service and/or product.

Above all, say THANK YOU! Saying thank you after every transaction is one of the easiest ways to build a loyal following. Showing your customers that you appreciate their business makes them feel empowered and more likely to return!

October 6, 2020 by Advertising

Benefits-of-CRM-and-Marketing-Automation-for-Your-Business

Managing databases and nurturing your leads are important components of running a successful business. If you want to save time and money, the best way to do it is to invest in a software that handles both CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and marketing automation.

Want to learn about all of the benefits of CRM and marketing automation? Keep reading!

Benefits of CRM

1. Improves Sales Performance – Collecting accurate data on your leads and customers will give your sales staff a better understanding of where each lead is in the sales process.

2. Improves Customer Satisfaction and Retention – Consumers tend to spend more money with a company of a positive customer experience. Make sure all of your customer data is stored in one place so all of your team members can access it to better serve your clients.

3. Increased Efficiency – Thanks to a CRM platform, you can automate many everyday tasks such as creating forms, tracking every domain and its renewal time, and generating reports.

4. Better Internal Communication – When all of your team members are on the same page while interacting with customer data in one system, employee satisfaction increases. It’s all about clear communication between your departments!

5. Stronger Data Security – Housing your data in one system (instead of your employee’s desktop) means greater security.

Benefits of Marketing Automation

1. Time Savings – Marketing automation manages many of the repetitive, daily tasks that take up time from your marketing team.

2. Better Data – The right marketing automation platform will help your business with collecting and using data to make good business decisions. Not only will you be able to better understand your stored data, but you could also predict some customer behavior in the future.

3. Enables Segmentation and Personalization – With improved knowledge of your prospective customers, you can create targeted messages and automatically segment your data based on the profile, interests, and demographics.

4. Creates Brand Consistency – It’s important to create consistent, creative and well-branded messages to support strong branding in every touch point of the customer journey.

5. Increases Revenue and Average Deal Size – Improvement to your customer data leads to more targeted and effective marketing. In result, you can expect an increase in average customer lifetime value due to delivering a positive and consistent communication.

Trust us, one of the best decisions you will ever make as a business owner is by implementing a CRM and Marketing Automation system early on. If you want to learn more about lead management, we’re here to help!

Make Your Business Stand Out with Google Guarantee & Upgraded GMB Profile

August 4, 2020 by Advertising

Make Your Business Stand Out with Google Guarantee & Upgraded GMB Profile

Back in April 2019, Google tested a subscription-based service for a monthly fee known as Google Guarantee. Such certification means your Google My Business profile gets an upgrade, which is supposed to make it easier for customers to choose your company over others when they’re conducting an online search.

Google-Guaranteed-GMB upgrade

The Google Guaranteed badge is available for businesses that pass a Google screening and qualification process through Google Local Services.

If your business is backed by Google Guarantee, and your customers (who found you through Google) aren’t satisfied with work quality, Google may refund the amount paid for the service. The upper limit of lifetime coverage for claims in the United States is $2,000.

Your business can be a part of Google Guarantee if you meet these eligibility requirements including a background check. The cost of the program is $50 per month or $600 per year.

What does Google Guarantee cover?

This new Google badge covers claims up to the amount on the job invoice up to the lifetime cap for coverage. Services, however, must be booked through Google Local Services. The Google Guarantee doesn’t cover add-on or future projects, damages to property, dissatisfaction with price or provider responsiveness, or cancellations.

Whether Google Guarantee becomes successful and available to all business is still to be determined, but it’s definitely something to look out for when updating your Google My Business profile in the future. The competitive advantage may be worth this upgrade!

Here’s Your Must-Have Digital Strategy Checklist

March 9, 2020 by Advertising

Here’s Your Must-Have Digital Strategy Checklist

When discussing your digital marketing strategy, we can’t forget about all the other basic business elements that will contribute to your plan of action. Understanding your “why”, having a polished elevator pitch, defining your buyer persona and knowing your competitive advantage are crucial concepts to take into consideration before implementing your digital strategy.

According to The Digital Minds Book by WSI, building your plan of action requires answering important questions first. Here’s what should be on your digital strategy checklist:

Must-Have Digital Strategy Checklist

  • Building Your List and Your Database – This is where you’re going to nurture your prospect and customer base. Choose a platform that allows you to monitor every stage of your customer’s journey all the way to the sales pipeline.
  • Building Your Core Message – Think of this as a story your brand needs to tell the customers so they better understand your services or products. The more you focus on one main idea you’re trying to sell the better!
  • Defining Goals Within Your Strategy – Your marketing message should align with goals you’re trying to accomplish. Whether it’s generating more leads and sales, gaining authority and relevance in your industry or simply nurturing relationships and connections you already have, defining your goals will help you develop a more accurate brand messaging later on.
  • Defining the Channels – Each channel requires a different format so be selective when trying to find the right platform to carry your message. A question you should ask yourself here is: What are the digital channels that you will use to reach each buyer persona?
  • Measuring Results – This is the final strategy element that is best utilized when paired with marketing automation tools that provide analytics on a regular basis.
